NASIONALXPOS.CO.ID, BALI — Bali Film Festival (Balinale) 2024 on Friday (7/6/2024) was officially closed. The movie Lafran is believed to be one of the films that closed the Balinale activities that had taken place from June 1 to 7, 2024.
Lafran is a movie that tells the story of the struggle of Lafran Pane, a student who became the founder of the Islamic Student Association (HMI).
On that occasion, a joint viewing of the movie Lafran was also held which was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Bali legislature, I Nyoman Sugawa Kori, Regent of Jembrana I Nengah Tamba, Former Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council of Bali Province Kyai Haji Taufik, Director of the film Lafran, Fauzan Rizal, Producer Afizina Zubri and Presidium Coordinator Mohammad Ridwan.
“We thank Balinale for reviving cinema and let’s support together and take the time to watch so that the creative film industry can develop,” said Sugawa Kori.
The same thing was also conveyed by the regent of Jembrana, I Nengah Tamba. Although there is no cinema in Jembrana district, he admitted that he was proud to be invited to the Balinale 2024 event.
