Responding to this, Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) of South Sulawesi member, Saiful Jihad confirmed that the video was circulating. However, he said the video was being investigated by the Takalar Bawaslu.
“Bawaslu Takalar formed a team to search for this information,” he said, on Monday, January 15, 2024.
He also said that so far, no reports have been received regarding the viral video. However, he also stated that the search was still being carried out and was temporarily awaiting results.
“Because until now there is no, or no incoming report. Waiting for the results, Ok,” he continued.
Meanwhile, it is known that the video was taken when Hasbi was opening the Rembuk Guru event at the Balla Appaka Sulapa Takalar Regional Museum, which was held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Hasbi initially explained the difficulty of the Takalar Regency Government in finding a budget to finance Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK).
