NASIONALXPOS TV, BEKASI – Hundreds of residents of Mekarmukti Village, North Cikarang, Bekasi, who are members of the Mekarmukti Bersatu Community Forum (FMMB), held a peaceful action in front of Mattel Company Indonesia II on January 21, 2025. This action aims to demand corporate social responsibility, especially in creating jobs.
FMMB highlighted the high unemployment rate in the area, with 335 unemployed people with Mekarmukti ID cards, 70% of whom are of productive age. In their speech, FMMB representatives emphasized that they want local residents to be given job opportunities, not waste projects.
The head of FMMB, Wahyu Mulyana, expressed his rejection of the practice of buying and selling references in job recruitment. The action took place peacefully, and after mediation, it is hoped that the company can respond positively to the aspirations of the community.
