NATIONALXPOS.CO.ID, DENPASAR –
The case of alleged unlawful acts sued in the Surabaya District Court by the Director of CV. Bali Marine Service Fiona Yapsawaky to PT Pelindo Property Indonesia (PPI) Benoa, Bali is not over yet. The latest, Fiona, who is also the branch head of PT Jatarim Binau Lines, reported PPI staff with the initials RAH for alleged defamation to the Bali Police, Monday (24/2/2025) at 11:00 central indonesian time.
Fiona’s reporting, which is evidenced by a proof of report No. Reg.: STPL/375 / II / 2025 / SPKT / Bali Police, is not without reason, because the consequences of this have an impact on the business that the native Papuan entrepreneur started.
To nationalxpos.co.id Fiona explained the chronology of events starting last month (8/1) that she received a Whatsapp message from a client and ship captain who manned a foreign-flagged ship where the message was distributed to a WhatsApp group saying that the ship under her auspices was operating without a license.
Apart from being considered operating without a license, the Whatsapp message, which Fiona finally found out that RAH had sent, also said that the ship’s operating license was said to have expired.
“I was told by the sender of the message that it was RAH who sent the notification via his phone number. At first I just let it go. But on January 16, I got a similar post from another client of mine which finally made me contact RAH,” said Fiona.

Suddenly at that time, Fiona immediately contacted RAH with the intention of asking for clarification of the notification that RAH conveyed to her client. However, RAH did not provide an answer at all.
Instead of getting an answer from RAH, Fiona received the same message from other clients on January 27 and January 29, 2025.
“I was waiting for a good response from RAH, but instead I received similar messages from my other clients on January 27 and 29,” said Fiona.
Regarding the message, Fiona said that based on maritime law, foreign vessels operating in Indonesian seas only need documents when entering and leaving Indonesian territory.
“In accordance with Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 4 of 2022 article 5 paragraphs (1), (2) and (3), it is said that foreign vessels carry out one clearance when entering and one clearance when exiting, and we have implemented the regulation. So I object and am very disturbed if it is said that I am carrying out activities without documents,” she said.
Fiona hopes that her report can be followed up by the Bali Police. Considering what RAH did, according to Fiona, it has greatly tarnished her personal and company reputation.
Meanwhile, nationalxpos.co.id tried to contact RAH both by telephone Whatsapp and Whatsapp message at 13.28 central Indonesian time until this news was published there was no answer. (Uchan)
