NATIONALXPOS.CO.ID, DENPASAR – CV Bali Marine Service (BMS) lawyer Yudi Saputra urged the Benoa Polairud apparatus to immediately reveal the suspect in the destruction of door locks and disconnection of electricity to the BMS office which was allegedly masterminded by PT Pelindo Properti Indonesia (PPI) personnel in Benoa, Denpasar, Bali.
He conveyed this to the media crew in a meeting at Benoa port, Monday, (29/7/2024) at 17.00 Central Indonesian Time, where he also said his belief that the evidence that had been given to investigators in the form of minutes, pieces of keys and the loss of CCTV footage was the basis for determining the suspect of the destruction.
Regarding the loss of CCTV footage, Yudi regretted the incident because the footage was important evidence to reveal the perpetrators.
“The loss of CCTV is very unfortunate, because it is a source of truth to find out who the real perpetrators are,” regretted Yudik.
Yudi added, that in the previous case title the legal standing of this case was questioned, but there was an admission from PPI Benoa which further strengthened the criminal element.
“In criminal law it is very strong enough, yes, to state that he admitted it, knew it. That is legally based and the criminal elements have also been included,” explained Yudi.
Supposedly, continued Yudi, it could have been carried out to the investigative stage in accordance with the investigator’s discipline.
“I hope that this process can be hastened and the suspect can be determined,” explained Yudi.
